    Stu and I are going to get the 8.50 off Bressay, climb at the wall from 9-10 and then head to Toft for the 11am ferry. Tony we can give you a lift from the wall if you’re coming to Yell.
    In Yell we can meet at the South end of Whalefirth around 11.30 and walk up the coast to investigate Lumbister.
    Sound ok?

    What a fantastic Easter !Got great reccie from kayak lots of potential along that section of coastline .Back in over next month if this miserable weather holds off!

    Last time I did a reccie from the water we ended up on an overhanging 45m offwidth that was unprotectable for the last 10m even with a no6 camalots! XS 5b/c I think!

    The rock is quartz-feldspar-mica gneiss ā€“ very good grip ā€“ with spectacular veins of pegmatite.
