Getting to that time of year again so thought I’d start with the normal long list of dates. Braewick cafe followed by a few bevvies at ours? Saturday probably works for most so…

    April 4th, 11th, 18th or 25th?

18th or 25th my preference. Let’s hope the weather’s fine so we can get some stone worship in.

Pay for our own grub this time…?

What? Pay for our own food? What sort of a climbing club is this?

Stu and I will be there AND we will be bringing our very own pet Nathalie with us 🙂
I am planning to step down as secretary at this AGM – sorry! I know it’s not a very arduous job but I have such a lot going on at the moment that I really need to shed a few tasks.
Let us know what time at Braewick

Grand. I’ll book the cafe for 6pm then meetings at ours after (or between courses!) That sound ok?

If anyone else is coming, please post up so we know numbers for the meal!

I’ve booked the böd so there will be 8 beds in total including our house. So far 9 people coming so someone’s sleeping with Bess, or in the bouldering shed!

The plan is to meet up at 10am at the Braewick cafe for breakfast / coffee then head out somewhere. Back to the cafe 5.30 / 6ish for dinner and AGM, then ours after. Sunday I guess we’ll see on the weather.

Saturday weather is currently looking rubbish but I think we should attempt to make something of it and go for a walk anyway. We could scout for new routes up by Otter’s head or walk round there. There’s always kayaking or coasteering but the wind is forecast to be up. Still, Ronas Voe would be ok.

Force 8 Saturday, force 6 Sunday – looks like a weekend for kite flying (or tumbleweed).

I’ll bring my tent. I wouldn’t want my snoring to keep Bess awake :p

Such a pessimist. My tactic of refreshing the weather forecast webpage constantly didn’t work last week, but seems to be this time. There’s even sunshine forecast on Saturday afternoon now, and the wind has dropped to a mere force 7. 😉
