I assume you’re joking. Pity. I used to enjoy a game of croquet. Thoroughly vicious.

I’m not joking – all we need is a lawn.

Right as I have so far done hardly any outdoor stuff this summer, and the fact that I missed several Fetlar weekends last year, I am going to do my best to come… only problem is I now have to persuade people to swap shifts with me. I will let someone know if I can make it next week 🙂

Actually just thought, what time would people be heading home on Sunday as If I got back in time for 6.30 I could still work, but may have to get a lift down to lerwick which I just thought the latest bus i could get down would be the 3, If it ends up not being possible to get back I may have to get someone else to do a shift.

Are you thinking Friday late ferry to Fetlar or early Saturday Pete?

Ruby, 4 oclock ferry off Fetlar could get you to Spiggie for 6.40ish if that’s any good

Hi, would you welcome a newbie to a Fetlar trip this weekend? Just got here, will be here for summer, looking for climbing buddies and excuses to get out.

You’d be more than welcome, yes. Not sure how much climbing is going to get done looking at the forecast. I might rearrange the Grind weekender for the following weekend anyway.

Hoping to still make it up for camping, beer, videos this weekend at least – sure we’ll find something to do!

Then kayaking, croquet … more beer … and shooting things seems to be the general plan. Don’t forget your tent and sleeping bag (and some beer).
