Here’s another venue in the South for you Al. All be it a single line that we combined with a trip to Blovid.

The East facing hanging wall will possibly go but a harder and just a tad wild!

    Longi Wall

    Grid Ref: HU 409 158
    Approach: 10 mins
    Rock Type: Sandstone
    Tidal: No
    Aspect: East

A lone section of climbable rock in a long section of steep hanging sandstone to the South of Longi Geo.

Park at a spacious pull in at Dalsetter farm (HU 402 160) to the North of Dalsetter Wynd. Head East across the fields and between two small lochans to the cliff top. The corner is on the North side of a steep jutting wall.

    The Norseman 30m E3 5c **
Climb the corner through a series of hanging bulges and roofs. The second bulge is climbed by a move out to the right (crux) and poorly protected by microwires.

    I see you’re a time-traveller as well as a climber.

Clearly an aspirational route rather than climbed on 30 June then!

    Well spotted 😉
