Me and Peter took advantage of the easing lockdown and went to Lunning to get a stupidly late start the summer…
We did a bunch of the existing routes and also what I think is the route marked as an uncompleted ‘Project’ in the guide book.
(assuming it’s not been done since print)
Hibernation E2 5c 15m *
High step onto the slabby block.
up to the zig-zagging crack line,
follow this (crux), then the easy arete to the top.

The book hints at a possible E3 grade, and it might not be far off that but with a bit of persistent groveling and micro cams I was able to reasonably protect the crux section, which was hard & techy but fairly short-lived (the right-hand traverse).
