So seeing as its the first weekend of the month I guess its a club ting… Anyone any suggestions on where to go? I was thinking of somewhere central. Bannaminn maybe?

Anyone welcome, if you need to borrow anything let us know and we’ll see what we can do. There are some great opportunities for easy 1st leads at Bannaminn for those who fancy giving it a try… If you need a lift shout up and sure something can be arranged.

OK, forecast looks good, except for the temperature! Good job all the holds at Bannaminn are massive eh?!

Meet at 11 @ parking spot?

Again for those who haven’t been before: “HU 359 305. From Scalloway take the B9074 to Burra, following signs for Bridge End. Drive all the way down West Burra, turning right in Papil to end at the car park near the old croft house museum. From here walk through the gate, following the track past the beach and walk up the hill directly behind. The slabs are located immediately over the hill.”

Soon the new site with all this info will be online, for now I’ll keep copying and pasting stuff!!

Itโ€™s alright, you donโ€™t use your hands! Just take a stove and heat up your shoe rubber before every climb.. ๐Ÿ˜›

You’ve probably fallen off because you’re a tennis player not a climber.

Tennis racquets donโ€™t work very well as ice axesโ€ฆ

Those racquets could be handy as snow shoes though
