Still dry! Anybody fancy trying some new routes in Burra tonight? 2 options:

    1. short stuff, 8-12m south of Mail Beach 5mins. access, some dry geos and a 6m stack-in the making. Phyllite (similar to Bannamin) with some granite intrusion. Pics. attached.

    2. A 20-30 minute walk at Kettlaness (south of Bannamin) with variety of new potential routes. Surprisingly solid granite.

Andy L. and I are meeting tomorrow, Friday at 1800 -East Voe marina Scalloway. Then going down to area south of Meal beach.

Easiest access is to take road through Burra South towards Bridge End, park at picnic spot after steep dip in road at grid, then it’s a short 5 mins walrk NW to crag.
