Still a long way off but we need to book the accommodation soon. Take a look at the availability calendar and let me know when suits you. I’m flexible but would prefer slightly earlier than last year, maybe last week Feb or early March.

Suits me. I suggest we don’t subsidise it this year though, we may need our money for the wall.

Can you do any earlier Pete? If not then guess that’s ok…

Not sure about funding etc Andy. I’d be more inclined to subsidise this (i.e. proper climbing) and fundraise if necessary for the wall. Plus it’s handy for the club to pay the deposit!

Well OK, if that’s what people want, although I’d be happier if everybody had paid their subs – there are still a few outstanding. Your membership of the MCofS continues by default and so I’ve paid up on all your behalves.
It’s just that a few people will be wanting to go on courses etc. and it’d be nice to have something in the kitty.

Not just up to me – fair enough for funding courses though, that’s more important than a trip. Suggest you email people who haven’t paid subs Andy. Perhaps I could set up some way of paying online if that would help folk?

Any of those times suit me (but the rivers will be warmer later in March :p )

You can go back for the “Spring trip” a few weeks later then 😉

Hi folks, I’ve had conversations with a few folk and thought we should probably get our accommodation booked. I’ve checked availability and booked The Logs, Fort William from Sat 4th – Sat 11th March 2017. That’s 7 nights. We’ll need to get the ferry south on Friday 3rd and back on Sat 11th. Hope that works. Please post on here if you’re planning to come so we can get an idea of numbers. Cheers! – Robina

Yep, good plan. Those dates are good for me. Have you fixed the booking and paid the deposit? Andy paid this from the club last year.

I’ve fixed the booking. Still to pay deposit, I’ll sort it this weekend when we’re back from Spain 🙂

I’ve now paid the deposit for the winter trip accommodation. It was £200. So far I have the following people going:
    Me
    Stu
    Aimee
    Pete
    Julie
    Jonathan
    Andy
    Aurore
    Al
    Ben
    Verena

Is anyone else coming? Eve? Jamie? Nathalie? Luke? Alan?
Is it possible that the club could reimburse me for the deposit for now?
