    Hey Pete, think be ok, been looking at ski pass website, and I could probably do the days Al wont be there and fits in wi pass Mon – Friday better. Will give you a bell though 🙂

    Beginning to think I might come after all but I’ll watch the weather/snow conditions and come down at the last minute under my own steam. Doss on the couch if nec. The crampon modifications for my new boots are coming along well. Even if the ice conditions aren’t too good I’ll go hill-bashing if the weather’s OK.

    Why the change of mind? Well, I’ve just realised I’ve still got, ha ha, a free ferry voucher to use up by the end of March. A train leaves Aberdeen at 08.45 which (change at Glasgow) gets me to The Fort at 16.10. With my, um, er, Senior Railcard that’s about £66.00 return. Time to get some supplies before catching the bus to Spean Bridge with, ta-daaaa – my bus pass. Tee-hee.

    For borrowing kit, I have a pair of Grivel G10 crampons and a DMM Cirque walking axe that can be borrowed if needed. Bryan, if you need other kit like w/proofs, goggles and stuff like that, let me know as I have plenty that should fit you and I won’t need it. If anyone needs clear goggles let me know.

    I was planning to come down on the Monday i.e. Sunday night boat. Be handy if I could send my climbing gear down with you – free to use it of course.

    I’ve booked the ferry down to Aberdeen Fri 1st March for Me, Pete, Diane, Arwen, Brian and Berlingo.
    Back on Sun 10th.
    If anyone else needs me to book them on then let me know.

    Good that, thanks Pete… I have the BMC Off Piste Essentials dvd and BMC Winter Essentials if anyone wants to borrow? They’re excellent. In fact, might watch them tonight.
