OK so the dates for this are now looking like 15th-23rd Feb (leave on 14th ferry). If you can let Pete know who is interested then he can sort accommodation. Added it as an event to the site.

My mates Dan and Alice may come along for some of the week. If there’s space they’ll take beds but don’t think they’ll be able to confirm just yet so happy to sort themselves out if full.

Just back from the highlands where the hills are looking pretty bare. Hardly enough snow for a decent snowball fight. Perhaps we should take my fleet of river kayaks down with us :p

Sure the Cairngorm plateau will have enough for touring. But yeah, kayaking sounds like a plan. Are you coming then? I’m planning some easy ski tours if you’re up for that, nothing too strenuous as Aurore can’t ski yet!

theres been a fair few routes done been done in northern corrys today, there still 4/5 weeks to go, theres plenty of mountains that can be climbed in the wet,
and yes I might consider a paddle if all the above fails 🙂

And if there is snow, but I really can’t ski, I’m sure kayaks can make an interesting sledge… 😉

By the way, probably worth letting Brian know about hire costs if needed. Quite pricey if he needs it all:

Cool. My car is playing up but hopefully be fixed soon then could maybe swap to that instead, as it means I can take the pooch. Or, my parents have offered their mondeo estate, downside being no roof rack. If someone had bars to fit the rails then that would work though? Gives a bit more space…
