so Me and Jacob went to the coal today to get him leading the North stack. on decent I noticed then bagged the landward arete. bit crumbly in places and a tad bold on the slab but with reasonable moves throughout.

The landward arete; Jump start, then mantle to the ledge. climb the arete then slab above on its left side before Joining the arete once again to finish.

Well done Gwyd! Glad you’re both still alive… :p

Don’t think I’ve been to the Coal yet! We had a nice day at the South Gill yesterday, stopped just before it started raining. The pockets were full of water, hopefully they’ll dry soon.

at least you got some done! we were a bit slow getting organised so opted for the lighthouse instead on Sunday, managed one route before it dumped on us. was a bit too sleepy anyway 🙂

Nice one. I suspected that the arete would go and boldly so. I abbed off the other side so never had a look at it! Well done.
